39 And we are witnesses of all the things that he did both in the land of the Judeans and in Jerusalem, whom they also executed by[a] hanging him[b] on a tree. 40 God raised this one up on the third day and granted that he should become visible, 41 not to all the people but to us who had been chosen beforehand by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
